NO SOUP FOR YOU
I am beyond disappointed right now. It's Fall, which I love, and in Fall I start to make soup. Tonight I made my first batch of soup and guess what I did... I over salted the soup. Not just a little. A lot. *face palm*
I refuse to throw it out. I am going to get some more groceries and make a second batch and mix the two together. But really I am so tempted to dump it all and start over. So sad. So very sad. I wish that there was an easier way to save the soup other than double or (hopefully not) tripling the recipe.
Live and learn people. Don't measure out your salt from the source right above the pot. It doesn't matter how careful you are - you will fail. Maybe not the first time. Maybe not even the second time. But eventually you will stumble or the bag will rip and your soup will be a salty mess.

Later all... ;)
